The Nlm Reading Room

To help you determine how long your visit might take, we'll ask you a few questions about the purpose of your visit. We will also ask for your name and email address. This information will only be used to make and confirm your reservation.

We are currently taking appointments Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. The reading room will be closed from 12:30 to 13:00. Reading Room users must bring their own laptop, tablet, or smartphone to access NLM resources, including the LocatorPlus catalog.

NLM no longer has computers that can be used in the reading room, although a laptop is available for loan if you forget to bring your own device. Parking at the Connie Morella Library is metered and costs $1.00 per hour from 7:00am to 7:00pm weekdays for a maximum of 3 hours.

Weekend and holiday parking is free. Overnight parking is not allowed. Payment is made in cash or through the Parkmobile Pay by Mobile program. Before using the mobile payment service, you must register. If paying in cash, please bring coins (nickel, dime or quarter) to add to the counters.
